About Notebook Assessment Get to know us
Notebook Assessment Services (NAS), our journey reflects a strong commitment to quality, innovation and a passion for education. We are continually improving and developing new ways to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the wider apprenticeship sector.
Founded in 2020, Notebook was established with a clear ambition to enter the world of apprenticeship assessment (EPA). We have grown into a trusted and established provider within the Apprenticeship Assessment sector, building strong relationships with employers and training providers and gaining recognition through award nominations.
Our aims are…
To deliver high-quality, contextualised apprenticeship assessment (EPA) that meets the needs of a diverse range of employers and apprenticeship providers, ensuring every assessment is fair, robust, and aligned to the relevant apprenticeship standard.
To provide a personalised, flexible, and responsive service that supports customers nationwide, offering clear communication, efficient processes, and a positive experience throughout the end-point assessment journey.
To maintain the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and professionalism, ensuring confidence in the assessment process for apprentices, providers, employers, and regulatory bodies.
To continuously innovate and improve our assessment delivery, adapting to the evolving needs of the apprenticeship sector and ensuring our services remain accessible, effective, and customer-focused.
In 2021, we achieved Ofqual recognition and secured contracts to deliver apprenticeship assessments (EPA) for the RAF, Royal Navy, and Army. In 2022, we welcomed our first customers in the college sector, and by 2023, we expanded further to become a fully national EPAO delivering assessments across multiple apprenticeship standards.
Innovation, Quality, Customer Experience
Today, Notebook is recognised for innovation, quality, and a strong focus on customer experience. We strive for excellence in every assessment we complete and remain committed to delivering the very best for our customers, supported by a dedicated Board that helps us continue to grow and achieve our goals.
Our future plans?
Notebook are committed to continuous growth and innovation in the apprenticeship sector. Looking ahead, we aim to expand our portfolio of apprenticeship standards, particularly within the Digital and Engineering sectors, to meet increasing employer and learner demand.
This year, following the latest reforms, Notebook plans to introduce additional standards across digital technologies, IT, and network-focused roles, as well as new engineering standards covering manufacturing, maintenance, and technical operations. By broadening our offerings, we aim to support more providers and employers while ensuring apprentices have access to high-quality, industry-relevant apprenticeship assessments.
We remain dedicated to maintaining our personalised, flexible, and responsive service, ensuring that as our standards grow, every provider and apprentice continues to receive the support and guidance needed to achieve success.
