Your Journey with Notebook
-
Before you make any apprentice registrations, you will need to partner with Notebook Assessment Services to gain access to our ACE360 system. If you are not already with us, please contact our Business Development team here.
-
We recommend registering your apprentices on to ACE360 as early as possible in their programme. This gives them access to supporting materials for assessment, protects their status on the programme and allows us to plan effectively for gateway.
However, please don’t worry if this is not possible as we will always aim to support apprentices no matter how far along they are.
-
At this stage the apprentice moves from the on-programme learning to the assessment period. They will be introduced to their assessor for a free, pre-assessment meeting and the assessments they will undertake.
-
This stage is where the apprentice undertakes their assessment, be it a multiple choice test, a practical, a presentation or a professional discussion etc The assessor will guide them through the expectations of the assessment and will be the individual who will assign them an overall final grade.
-
Study the range of supporting documents Notebook provides in our Resource Library and ask questions if you need to know more. There will be some materials that are hidden away and will be available once apprentices are registered.
-
At this stage, the apprentice will receive their results and any further support if needed. Results are sent to the apprentice, employer and training provider.
Certificates are requested by us to the DfE and will be issued within 10 working days, sent directly to the training provider.
